Student Reflections on Lessons Learned

The Eagle Eye Inquiry Project is a new educational resource in its pilot phase. As more and more educators explore the resource with their students we will post a wide range reflections representing diverse age groups and insights to inspire other students to dig a little deeper into the richly layered metaphorical, scientific, and spiritual teachings embedded in the Eagle Eye Legend as well as the Expert Commentary.

You can view excellent reflections at the college level here.

Here are the some suggested prompts to stimulate student reflection.

Student Reflection

Dear Student,

We invite you to write a personal testimonial describing what you learned including what was most engaging about the way you learned it.

What part of the Eagle Eye Legend best explained the core teachings of biodiversity, systems thinking and sustainability?

What are the most useful ideas you gleaned from the Expert Commentary?

How are you different as a student and a citizen as a result of the Eagle Eye Inquiry Project?

Please email your testimonial to Peter (peter@peterdonaldson.net) for possible publication on this site. Thank you for taking time and care with your response. Hundreds of students will be reading what you write. It’s very helpful.
